Retailer terms – working draft

Rules for voucher stock, sales and monthly billing.

This text is a detailed editable working draft and must be legally reviewed before production use.

1. Retailer stock

Cards assigned to the retailer that have not yet been sold may, where agreed as consignment stock, remain in stock without creating a sales receivable. Movements, returns, transfers and blocks are logged by the system.

2. Sale and activation

A retailer card is activated only when it is actually sold. For tariff-selection cards, a GeschenkApp price tier approved by the operator must be selected before activation. Free-form value entry is not provided.

3. Creation of the retailer receivable

Once sale activation is successful, the retailer billing item is created immediately. The time of sale is decisive. Later redemption, non-use or partial use by the end customer does not change the retailer receivable already created.

4. Monthly consolidated billing

Open sales items are consolidated by retailer on a regular basis, generally monthly. The invoice may show the serial number, sale date, price tier, retailer purchase price and other agreed billing data.

5. Retailer purchase price and margin

The retailer purchase price valid at the time of sale, the margin and any seller commission are stored as a historical snapshot. Later price changes must not retroactively alter completed sales.

6. Seller access

Personal seller accounts may act only on behalf of the assigned retailer. Access credentials must be protected. The secret customer code is not required for the sales process.

7. Payment term and payment

The specific payment term is governed by the retailer agreement or invoice. Where stock is already purchased for cash or on account upon handover, this must be documented separately.
